Sufi Homestead School for girls and young women
aged 10-15 and 16+
Intentions
To provide experiential education and learning for living and being in reverence, balance and harmony with our heart, our bodies and the natural world
To support, cultivate and nourish each girl/young women’s unique expression and heart led passions and to provide a space for these to be expressed freely and confidently in beauty and reverence
To provide a safe and sacred space for each girl/young women to connect more deeply with the Divine, her heart, her body, to each other and hold loving and compassionate space for themselves and each other.
To follow and use Al Mizan (A Covenant for the Earth : https://www.almizan.earth/) as guidance to being Khalifa’s of the earth and allowing the natural world around us to thrive.
To learn how to live from and tend to the land and animals through permaculture, bio dynamic, regenerative farming practices
To bring love, peace and mercy into the world with all that they are and do for the sake of Allah.

Weekends and Holiday Stayovers
Curriculum:
Activities connecting to Sufi Divine Names and how they are expressed and manifested within ourselves and the world.
Exploring the relationship with the Divine, our hearts, our bodies and the world through creativity.
Physical Embodied Experiential Education:
Breathwork, embodiment, meditation and dhikr to connect more deeply with inner heart wisdom and intuition.
Self-bodywork and bodywork on each other to cultivate body awareness, deeper connections and intimacy.
Learning about moon menstrual cycles, seasons and how to listen more deeply to our female physical needs. Noticing patterns and witnessing emotions and physical manifestations during these different phases.
Sharing and listening circles – healing through sharing and expressing emotions and truth, being with discomfort and what lies beneath. Learning to listen deeply to one another and offer deep presence and holding in moments of vulnerability.
Artistic Expression and Creativity
Expressing heart, emotions, stories through art and creativity
